Services

Everything between the finish schedule and the punch walk.

Specification support, procurement, warehousing, installation management and long-term maintenance — bundled or unbundled.

Service 01

Specification & design support

We work directly with architects and interior designers during design development. That means substrate assessment, traffic-class matching, slip-resistance and acoustic verification, and CSI Division 09 language you can drop into the project manual.

  • Three-tier product comparisons (basis-of-design, alternate, value option)
  • EPD, HPD, Declare and recycled-content documentation
  • LEED v4.1 and WELL credit contribution summaries
  • Physical sample boards couriered within two business days
  • Mock-up coordination and control-sample sign-off
Service 02

Material procurement

We buy across more than forty mills and manufacturers rather than pushing one line. Pricing is quoted against confirmed availability, dye lots are reserved at order, and everything consolidates onto a single purchase order and invoice.

  • Quantity takeoff from your drawings with stated waste factors
  • Verified lead times, re-confirmed weekly after release
  • Dye-lot and production-run control across phases
  • Substitution packages when a specified product is discontinued
  • Net 30 terms on approved commercial credit
Service 03

Warehousing & logistics

Material lands in Northbrook, not on your job site. We receive, inspect, count and store it, then release in the sequence your superintendent asks for — by floor, by wing, or by phase.

  • 38,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled storage
  • Damage inspection and freight-claim handling on receipt
  • Staged, scheduled releases with lift-gate and hoist coordination
  • Free attic-stock storage for 12 months on contracts over $25,000
  • Emergency same-day pulls from stocked inventory
Service 04

Installation management

We hold the installation contract and manage the crews, so you have one number to call when something moves. Union and open-shop options depending on the project agreement.

  • ASTM F2170 relative-humidity and F1869 calcium-chloride testing
  • Floor flatness verification and grinding or patching scope
  • Daily field reports with photos
  • Certificates of insurance issued before mobilization
  • Joint punch walk with your superintendent prior to sign-off
Service 05

Maintenance & warranty programs

Most premature floor failures are cleaning failures. We hand facility teams a written protocol tied to the exact product installed — chemical compatibility, pad grades, burnish intervals, recoat schedules — and register manufacturer warranties on the owner’s behalf. Annual inspections are available on contract, with refinishing quoted from the same inventory that supplied the original installation.

The process

Eight steps, one owner per step.

Nothing here is unusual. What is unusual is that each item has a named person accountable for it and a document that closes it out. When a schedule shifts — and it will — the trail is already there.

Typical duration from first drawing review to material on site is six to fourteen weeks depending on the product category. Domestic stocked goods move considerably faster; imported porcelain and custom carpet run longer.
